The service allows you to insert one or more METARs / TAFs, to load them from the Internet and to show their translations in a easily comprehensible language. There is a database containing all the airports that allows you to easily find the ICAO airports code. It even shows some additional information concerning the Italian airports.
It is also possible to show the weather condition and the METARs / TAFs in Google Earth.
You can call the page by using the following parameters to be able to quickly retrieve the METARs / TAFs for the ICAO codes and which service to use.
The parameters used are:

  • icao=XXXX - where XXXX is the ICAO code (you can enter multiple codes separated by a space);
  • service=X - where X is the service code (between 1 and 16);
  • tokens=yes - to print the tokens;
  • decode=yes - to load and decode the METAR / TAF.
  • timezone=XX.YY - XX is the time zone hours offset, from 00 to 12 with optional first 0 for values less than 10. Offset may have a negative value (-XX.YY). YY is the time zone decimal hour offset, from 00 to 99, though in practice only 00, 25, 50, 75 decimal hour offsets are used in global timezones.

You can also create a shortcut on the desktop by entering the URL with parameters in the URL address.
